Vice Principal - Assistant Principal, Optimal Learning Coach
My Educational Vision:
All students can learn when curriculum and instruction are inclusive and developed within an optimal learning environment. My belief is that an optimal learning environment begins with a positive, productive school climate where relationships are built to foster continuous academic, social, and emotional growth.
I was born and raised in Mannville and graduated from Mannville School in 1999. I went to Red Deer College and received a diploma in Kinesiology. I had a passion for teaching! In 2005, I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Elementary Education with a minor in Physical Education. I've had the privilege to teach grade one at Mannville School from 2005-2018. Recently taking on the role as the Assistant Principal & and continuing as the Optimal Learning Coach who collaborates with staff in creating safe and caring learning environments that maximize student learning.
