Kyla Christensen

Hello! My name is Kyla Christensen and I was raised on a grain farm outside of Irma. I grew up playing hockey, softball, volleyball, curling, and dancing as well. I graduated from Irma School and completed my Bachelor of Education at MacEwan and the University of Alberta. My mom and grandma are also teachers, so I'm carrying on the family business! I have had the privilege of working at three different schools within BTPS and have felt the heartbeat of each community. I am proud to call Mannville my home and love getting to know the children and families of the community. For hobbies, I enjoy calligraphy and painting, and put on extra-curricular art clubs and workshops. In the summer I like to play ball, golf, and camp. In the winter I like to snowboard, curl, and watch my boys play hockey at the rink. I have three young sons and love that we get to go to the same school every day!
